Happy Valentines Day to everyone,
This is a hard day for my family and I right now. My first husband died six months ago today. And it is so hard to deal with. It is my sons 23rd birthday and I know it is going to be very hard on him. I have two children from my first husband. and they are both having a terrible time dealing with his death. and my two children from this marraige loved their Uncle Steve too. So, I am writing this in memory of Steve.
You will always be a part of my heart and my life. You were my first love and always my love, Even though we had our differences I have always loved you. And when you hurt, I hurt too. but I couldn't show it. I didn't want you to feel any worse from it. Now that you are not on this earthly plane with me I can still feel you near. I just wish that somehow we could have gotten our acts together and stayed with each other. But that is water under the bridge to no longer return. Just to let you know that you are in my thoughts daily and in my prayers. And I hope that even tho I wasn't with you physically, I was there in my heart. May your after life be filled with joy and happiness and those who have passed on before are there with you now holding you up. I love you so much....your pattigirl
What a day.Phew... First we drove to my sons house which is about sixty or so miles away, To find him not home yet. so we waited for a bit, then we climbed into our cars. and went to a casino in Washington. Was very interesting. Of course we didn't win. and I could not believe that casinos was a big part of my life when I lived in Las Vegas. I don't think I would ever want to go back to that lifestyle. It is fun to do maybe twice a year. Fall and Spring. I told me son we won't be going to a casino until Fall and i suggested he didn't also.. LOL...If he left there with his shirt and pants I would be surprised. My hubby and I just lost our shirts. We left earlier than they did.. Know when to cut our losses. So, we all decided to start a small fund for doing that again. Glutens for punishment...
Hope everyones day was good. It rained here most of the day. And while we were going over the pass in Washington it was snowing. Was very pretty.
Today was a little busy but laid back at the same time if that makes sense..LOL. I rested some and worked on making a beaded bracelet. I still have so much more to do on it. But it is going to look pretty neat. It will have a beaded flower at each end and Blessed Be in the middle.
Today also, a friend of mine said he had something neat for me. So we went out to his truck and inside he had four puppies. they were so cute. He needed to find a home for them. So I took two of my daughters and grand daughter and went to Safeway with the pups with in an hour they all had homes. I am so glad. and my girls did a good job cause if they didn't like the looks of the people they told them that people in the store already have the puppies and they are just holding them. So that was really neat.
