Hello.. it was a pretty nice day off except one of the tenants at the Rv park came up to the office and told us that there was a cougar chasing one of his cats up the hill from the river. So we called animal control and they feel it is the same one that has been around town for the last three weeks. And they have been looking for him. I am like you don't need to look any further dang it cause he is here!!!! Well then another person came up about five tonight and told me it was just about on his porch. So this buggar is not afraid of anyone and I think it is sickly. Because he is very thin. So.. this is going to be one heck of a night. i am going to be awake with every noise I here. LOL will have to walk around the motel armed.. Is pretty scary. They have seen him three times already during the day so i can just imagine tonight. There are alot of pets here and I am so worried about them. We feed stray cats and I don't want them to be food either.
I am so excited. Beckys blood work has been really good. She is going to have the shunt taken out some time this week. She has to call the surgeon tomorrow to make an appointment!!! Then in three weeks she will get blood work and when that comes out good she will have blood work done every four weeks just to keep an eye on her!!! The dr. said that she is out of the woods.
Well I went for my first real lesson with a friend that was an instructor in California. I am so glad he is so patient. Was a lot of fun but dang a lot of work. The first part of the lesson is walking beside the bike and applying the brake and getting to know how much to squeeze the handle. So it was a long hard walk. This bike is heavy and does not push very easy. Has 90 weight oil in the rear. Dennis let my husband help me push it thank God. LOL. Then the next lesson was a buddy push. Where my husband Steve pushed my bike down a small grade and have me put my feet up and apply the brakes. When Dennis felt I was ready we started the bike. So , did ovals, circles and the weave around cones. Well we didn't have cones so I bought a bunch of small rubber ducks to take the place. It looked really cute.. I was doing ok but then on a take off I don't know what I did wrong but biffed it. Took three of us to pick the bike up and I got back on and took off. Spend a little over four hours riding and getting to know the bike..
Great news!!! Becky had her blood work done this past Monday and everything was normal!!! She didn't have to get the plasma phoreses and the Dr said that she is over this disease.. I am so excited and so is she. When she gets her blood work done this coming Monday and when it is normal again the dr. is going to make an appointment for the shunt to be taken out that week. So she will be back to my normal Becky... She is on covenspace too.. patti
