Phew what a day it was. I was outside trying to clean up the area and get the yard ready for the big yard sale. Well all of a sudden I heard a crash and a lady screaming. So I went running up front and there was one heck of a wreck. There were three cars involved but two that were completely totalled. There was smoke or steam coming out of the two cars and both drivers were trapped. Thank God they didn't go on fire. The door was locked on the girls car and I tried to get to her. She was pinned mostly under the dash board. All I could do was tell her to hang on and she would be ok. Then I went to the other car and it was an older man in his 70s or 80s he was in terrrible shape. Blood coming out of his nose and not responding very well. Ran to the restuarant across the street and got a knife so two men that showed up could cut the seat belt of off him. I backed off and let the guys take care of him and tried working on the girls door. Finally one of the men could get his arm down enough in the car to unlock the doors. Was so sad. Come to find out the girl was one of our friends daughters. But before I realized who the mom was I saw her crying on one of the cops shoulders and I finally went across the street and went to her to hold her so the cop could get back to what he needed to do. Then I saw who it was and she just cried and cried. her husband came up and he held her. It was so hard to see another mom in such anguish over their daughter. So we hugged and then they got their daughter on a stretcher and got her to the helicopter which landed at the church parking lot down the street. So she is in the hospital now and the little ole man died at the scene. Was so sad... The poor old man.. I wish I could have held his hand as he went into the Summerland.
Well now I am sitting here and just finally releasing all the energie that you get when you deal with something like this. Now I could cry for that person that died.
good morning.. Becky went home yesterday!!! She still has blood work to do a couple of times a week to check on her platelet count. and the phorsis two to three times a week depending on the lab work. She has so much to do at her place. got to get a hold of social services to see if she can get help with her rent for a month or two until she gets a job and on her feet. They don't want her to work for atleast six months but she needs to. But atleast she is home. I told her something will come up for the rent and to have the faith that it will. And it does.
I talked to my boss and I go back to work the week after next. So I am going to take Beckky to the dr apointments and stuff and get caught up here at my place. Will feel good to maybe get organized.
I just would like to thank everyone for their prayers for Becky you all mean so much to me. Words can't express hor greatful I am to you all.
Just a fast note to say hello and a good morning to all. it is six thirty am here. Am half awake. LOL. Drinking my first cup of coffee. We are still at the hospital. Becky is sleeping and is doing much better. Her platelets went up to 133,000 last week but went down for two days in a row which they said is a normal thing. She is still getting the blood phoresis where they exchange her blood. But her count of yesterday was 125,000 and they have been holding and steadily going back up.
I just want to wish everyone a blessed full moon. I will do a ritual in my heart since they frown on lighting candles in a hospital and the burning of incense and I am sure the chanting of a witch would scare the heck out of them. LOL..
I will just do a full moon ritual when I get home. The Goddess will understand I am sure.
Beckys dad will be here today. So that will be nice.
Thank you all for your prayers. Becky platelett count today was 61,000 !!! yesterday it was 36,000 that is how much they are coming up!!! She still has the IV line in but they disconnected her from the iv itself. So she can walk around without taking her IV buddy. Her color is good and her kidney function is improving. I want to thank you again for all of the prayers that have been said for her.
